Tollywood Overseas business was dominated by few buyers for all these years , They used to play a safe game of under reporting the collections and grab the rights coating very low price, forming a syndicate.
But now things have changed, new players entered this zone of business giving a touch competition for the syndicate.
Even the Tollywood producers are very happy to get good price for their movie with the entry of new buyers. Four major films rights of top heroes are bagged by new distributors.
Dil Raju sold the rights of Ramcharan’s Yevadu & NTR’s RamayyaVasthaavayya films as a package which fetched together around Rs 8 crs with Rs.50 lakhs recoverable.
Allu Arjun’s Iddarammayilatho was sold for around Rs 3 Crs and as reported earlier Pawan Kalyan -Trivikram film was sold for record price of Rs.6.5 crore.
