Superstar Rajinikanth’s Kochadaiyaan area sales have started. The America (USA) theatrical rights have been sold to Atmus Entertainment for a high price.
The Hyderabad based Lakshmy Ganpathy Films had also purchased the Telugu rights of the film titled Vikrama Simha.
Kochadaiyaan shot with motion capture in 3D is directed by Soundarya Rajinikanth and written by KS Ravikumar. The film features Rajinikanth, Deepika Padukone, Shobana, Sarath Kumar,Aadi, Rukmini Vijayakumar, Jackie Shroff and Nassar. It has music by AR Rahman.
Soundarya is currently in Hong Kong doing post-production work of the film. Sony Music will be launching the audio of the film sometime in May. The film is now scheduled to release in July.
