He has already signed Rajamouli's Baahubali wherein he plays the antagonist. And now he has signed director Gunasekhar's historical 3D film - Rudramadevi. He is playing the role of prince belonging to Nidavarjyapuram princely state.
Anushka plays the title role - Rani Rudramadevi, the great Kakatiya ruler belonging to 13th century.
