Income Tax officials who raided producer Bandla Ganesh's office and residences questioned the producer about the source of funds for his various big films. They reportedly found 'discrepancies' in his statement and made pay Rs 1 Crores as advance tax immediately and issued summons in tax evading case too. 

Bandla Ganesh who hails from Guntur district started off his career in films as a small time actor but he ventured into poultry business and made big money. He turned as producer with Ravi Teja's Anjaneyulu,which was reportedly backed up by current PCC president Botsa Satyanarayana. 

He later produced Pawan Kalyan's Teenmaar and blockbuster Gabbar Singh. And he is currently producing NTR - Srinu Vaitla's Baadshah and announced another big movie. 

So Income Tax officials sought information from him about source of funds for these huge projects
