Life of Pi’s Best Visual Effects at 85th Academy Awards brought Joy to Hyderabad based firm.
Rhythm and Hues (R&H), the American based VFX firm in Hyderabad nearly 150 artists have worked for the film for a year to generate most of the animals seen in the movie, including the tiger Richard Parker.
Once the award was announced , the artists screamed with joy, They said it was a challenging project with more than 70% of the film is computer generated. This is the second for R&H studios as they already bagged a Oscar for Golden Compass in 2008.
