Stand up en masse and confront the teasers. They can harass one woman, but can do nothing against a crowd. If eve teasing is stopped, rapes will also go down - it is the knowledge that they can get away with it that allows rapists to continue. We need the force of the public behind us women, and that includes women too. When being harassed, turn to the public and plead loudly for someone to protect you from the pervert, dont suffer in silence. I have used this in buses and it worked, but you do need to be loud.

I will and i shall say it again....Jyothi has shown true courage and will which SHOULOD inspire millions of women who are mercilessly butchered. i am a teen and i feel ashamed of myself and proud to know that "Damini" is in a place where even the most vile and merciless thugs shall never reach.
