Twilight Breaking Dawn Part 2 picks right up where we left off in Part 1. To give a brief history, Bella Swan (Played by Kristen Stewart) falls in love with a vampire namedEdward Cullen (played by Robert Pattinson). The problem is that a werewolf namedJacob Black (played by Taylor Lautner) is also in love with Bella.
Now, with the previous Breaking Dawn film, Edward and Bella are married and have a child on the way. The problem is that the child is too strong for Bella’s body and is killing her from the inside out. This means that Edward must turn Bella in to a vampire so that she and the baby can survive. Breaking Dawn Part 1 opens with Bella opening her eyes as a vampire and trying to adjust to the life style. Another problem has risen though because the Volturi (basically the Vampire government) believe their child to be immortal. The Cullens set out to set the record straight and prove their child is not immortal. This leads to an epic final battle.
Kristen Stewart gives her best in the final part of Twilight series; she knows the character just as well as its author Stephenie Meyer. Love the character arc of Jacob Black, he is my favorite. I just love the variations he has in this character throughout the series. Robert Pattinson is alright as Edward. Billy Burke is fine in his character. Rests of the characters are good.
Screenplay of the film is adequate. Direction by Bill Condon is average. Though he succeeded in climax battle, he could not narrate the film in such a way that tempo builds up as the film progresses. Music by Carter Burwell is okay. Photography by Guillermo Navvarro is adequate. Editing by Virginia Katz could have been crispier. CGI used to create the CGI Edward baby, facial expressions of Bella looks absolutely ridiculous.
The first half of Breaking Dawn (Part II) is slow, a little silly and has some awfulspecial effects. Then we are introduced to several new vampires in the second half; these characters are a fresh and fun addition to the Twilight final battle. The fans of the books all know how the story ends, surprise cinematic twist works well in the end. On the whole, Twilight Breaking Dawn II is best of the Twilight Franchise. Twilight fans will be blown away…
