SS Rajamouli’s Eega brought Tollywood some recognition. The film won two awards — Best Special Effects, and Best Regional Film, Telugu.
Seriously, this director seems to be not at all satisfied with 2 awards but expected 2 more awards for a Housefly revenge drama.
Rajamouli said, Without Sudeep, the film may not have done so well. He worked really hard. Throughout the shooting, he had to react to nothing in front of him. the Eega team expected Sudeep to win an award at the national level. He deserved it.Apart from Sudeep, cameraman Senthil too comes in for praise.
